چکیده فارسی :

This article examines the significant role of English Language Teaching (ELT) in fostering the holistic development of middle school students. It argues that modern, communicative ELT extends beyond linguistic skills to actively promote key aspects of personal growth such as self-confidence, critical thinking, and emotional awareness and social development, including collaboration, intercultural competence, and empathy. By analyzing the mechanisms of this relationship and discussing practical pedagogical strategies, the paper concludes that a thoughtfully designed ELT classroom serves as a vital environment for preparing adolescents as capable and conscientious global citizens.
